Dear Diary, Jan.9/85

Writer: crystalgoosneycrystalgoosney

There is nothing much to say tonight. I wrote Charmaine. And I did a whole chatichism lesson tonight. I did some homework that doesn't have to be done by Monday. I get to miss school on the 11th because I have a dentist appointment at 3:30 and I'm getting my hair cut like Vanessa St. Maries. Mom and Dad are watching Dynasty right now. I haven't seen Trinda since she left. I wonder if I'll get to see her. Since Blah Blah's been here theres been lot's of contests between people. She makes this chart that says who likes who from the boys and girls. It's dumb.

Love Crystal

Good day to you all!

It is Father's Day today ❤️ I am blessed to have been raised by a wonderful guy. Ivar Larson, is the 💣

Although we do not get to see each other very often I know that the love between us is always there and that is the greatest gift a father can give their child. That "knowing".

A little about my Dad.... He is the oldest of 7 kids. He has lived his whole life in the East Kootenay's in British Columbia. We lived in a town called Canal Flats and then when I went away to Calgary for college they built a log house out on the family's property which is about a 15 minute drive from the town.

He has always been a very active guy. High school basketball star, fastball pitcher, golfer, canoer, curler, hockey player, guitar player and then there is his love for the outdoors. He is an avid hunter and fisherman. Loves to hike and camp. And recently in the last few years has started to enjoy cruising around on his Harley!

He ran the family logging business for many years. And is now enjoying his much deserved retirement... Although I'm not completely positive that he is fully retired.... That's one cool thing that I have never come across from anyone else that I've met... He loves his job. Always has. He has been a logger most of his life and he enjoys it still. That is something.

I'm his girl. And I love being his daughter. I miss him terribly. Although we get to facetime each other, it's not the same as being physically present with him.

I grew up with a prime example of how to show kindness to people. All people. He is a friendly guy. Everyone seems to know my Dad. He's that guy that will help you out and even go a step further. Like you REALLY had to cross his line to bite back. But, when he did... look out!! And I don't mean that in a bad way. For example, he was President of the BC Wildlife Federation for a time and he was AMAZING in that role because he was everyone's buddy and at the same time stood up for what he believed in and got shit done. I LOVE THAT. If Dad was upset or angry, it was rightfully so.

He is a lovely, down to earth human being. And anyone that gets to be in his presence is blessed for it. He is also a great Grandfather as well and is so proud of his ladies. Always supportive and loving of his granddaughter's.

I'm just really blessed that he is MY Dad. ❤️

Shout out goes to my husband Ken today too! There are too many words to spill on here about you and how much I love you and am grateful for you. Our girls are blessed also to have YOU as their Dad. ❤️

I believe that I met Ken because I manifested him. I knew who I wanted because of how much I adore my Dad. And I believe that our daughter's will have no other choice than to choose a partner that is as wonderful as their Dad and their Grandfather's and their Great Grandfather's.......

I am very blessed.

K. Gotta go find him..... I think he's fishing. 🤘🏻😜🤘🏻

I sit here on my deck enjoying the last days of summer. To be honest it feels and smells like fall already but I like to use facts when I...
